The Curse of the Labrador Duck

The Labrador Duck which bred in Canada’s far north went extinct almost before anyone noticed that this beautiful seabird existed.

Join me on my epic journey to see all the stuffed Labrador Ducks in the world, to visit all places associated with the Labrador Duck, and to get into as much mischief as I could manage. This quest took me the equivalent of 3.3 times around the world, gave me intimate knowledge of all too many airports, and allowed me to hobnob with eccentric artists and multimillionaire murderers.

The Curse of the Labrador Duck was shortlisted for the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour and the William Saroyan International Prize for Writing. It was published by HarperCollins (Canada), Simon & Schuster (USA), and Simon & Schuster (Australia).
